INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

I believe that growth and fulfillment in life is a basic human motive. Every person seeks to grow psychologically and enhance themselves to be the best they can be. The counselor who guided me through my darkest hour reconnected me to my inherent talents and strengths when I couldn't see them. Individual therapy provides an opportunity to learn about yourself and begin to see your situation in new ways. There are times when you need to listen and be listened to in a non-judgmental and confidential way in order to see yourself and your situation differently.

I create a safe, caring and confidential environment when working one-on-one with a client. I explore feelings, beliefs and behaviors, work through challenging or influential memories and identify aspects of your life that you would like to change.

Together we will set personal goals in order to better understand yourself and others and work toward desired change. We will focus on the present, but also explore how the past may be impacting you both positively and negatively. 

I will formulate an action plan to help you overcome your personal and interpersonal obstacles.
